About logo

The Australian landscape is dominated by eucalyptus trees, which have also taken well to parts of other continents such as southern Africa, California and even Europe (around Rome)! One variety is the (Sydney) Blue Gum with a Linean name of Eucalyptus saligna. This particular variety has a white/grey trunk, and grows to a height of 55 metres (175 feet for the metrically impaired).

The domain name bluegum.com is not for sale. Well, never say never, but a seven figure amount could certainly change my mind. In other words, I am not really interested in selling it.

Termination Dust appearing on Pioneer Peak, near Wasilla, Alaska. The family of a friend, whose farm was in this area, named it termination dust, as it indicated the end of summer. Photo taken late September, 2011
