I enjoy travelling (well, most of the time!), and photography. These pages are somewhat in the form of lengthy travel diary of selected journeys. I hope you can enjoy them as much as I did.

Adelaide by road
in the 1964 May school holidays. See below for this journey repeated 50 years on.

Western New South Wales and South Australia
from February 1975, when cameras used film. And Kodachrome ruled!

Italy, Spain and Ireland in 2002
for the canonisation of (now) Saint Josemaria, pilgrimage and holiday, respectively.

Alaska 2003
A very enjoyable, and once-in-a-lifetime journey from Seattle to Anchorage, aboard the 42 metre (137 foot) high speed catamaran The Klondike Express.

2004 Vikings, Danes and All That Jazz
was my first KPLU (now KNKX ) Travel Club tour to Denmark and Norway. And it wasn't my last trip either!

KPLU's Vive le Quebec
tour to Quebec City (history) and Montreal (jazz festival) in July 2005.

Italy
in 2005 in Rome, Florence and Monza/Milan and motorcycle riding in the Dolomites.

Snowy Mountains
and other places in south eastern NSW, including Canberra, which is, of course, not in NSW!

Adelaide by road
in the 2014, fifty years later, version.

Cruise to New Caledonia
in 2016. There are 2 choices of video - a summary, or seven videos with much more detail.

High water in Echuca
in 2016, so it was time to see the Murray River with good water levels.

2017 ANZAC Rail Cruise
travelling to the north and west of New South Wales.

2018 New Zealand Rail Cart Adventure
which included 4 days driving modified golf carts along an out of service rail line between Taumarunui and Stratford in New Zealand's North Island, and a day at the Napier Art Deco Festival.

2019 ANZAC Rail Cruise
travelling to the far west of New South Wales, Broken Hill.
