Arriving in Anchorage we collected our rental car from the airport and headed to our hotel, which was located in downtown. In fact, it turned out to be very centrally located. After checking in and settling in for the next few days, we went for a walk around the neighbourhood.

peaks are obscured by cloud. This is looking east.

balcony. I was on the 12th floor, and the view was quite good.
