Wolverines
The
display board
describes wolverines as the "supreme scavengers of the north".
They are the largest terrestial member of the weasel family.
We found them to be very active, somewhat agressive to one another.
As a consequence, they were hard to photograph.
Other Residents
A pair of turkeys.
A deer.
Musk Ox
One of the musk oxen came over to where their keeper was feeding
them and filling their drinking water. Apparently that particular
one likes to "wash his feet" in a small puddle at the side of the
enclosure!
