And right next to the church is the cemetery, with plenty of
room for expansion.

some of the graves and out into the country.
The Bandon River flows through town - not exactly surprising,
but a very pleasant diversion nonetheless, as Peter & I went
walking to find a store with some Jiffy bags.
These ones seemed to prefer just absorbing the sunshine on the river bank.
The river was flowing quite vigorously too.
After finishing our shopping chores and looking around Bandon, it was time to head off to Kilkenny, where we planned to spend two nights to explore the south east corner.
