The castle. Now used as a youth hostel. The meals are catered
from the delightful restaurant in Ballyragget, which we discovered
as it was recommended by our host.
We stayed at the "Castle View" B & B, a few miles north west of Kilkenny. And just down the road is the castle, from which the name is derived!

In Parliament Street, downtown Kilkenny. It was a Sunday, of
a three day weekend, and quite a few stores were closed.

We enjoyed a light lunch at ML Dore's fine establishment. Apart
from serving food, it also had quite a collection of old memorabilia.
And there's also this old delivery truck, restored to a fine state.
After lunch we headed south, towards Waterford and the coast.
