From the western most part of Ile d'Orleans our bus took us along
the southern shore until we took a few turns and ended up at
the sign on the right.
And stopped in front of this car repair facility.
Ah, the light came on. One of the couples on the tour
is named
Dallaire,
exactly the name on the front of the garage.
Then Lise went in and bought out Mr. Dallaire.
Long lost family members are re-united at last!
Ah, the family reunion, a much photographed event, in front
of the
Allaire and Dallaire family
monument.
And there was much picture taking in the land.
And picture reviewing too! The view from behind the family
monument, including the "Maison Dallaire" and the lesser
branch of the Saint Lawrence River.

The strips down the side are ski runs, already just waiting for winter snows.
I think this is
Mont Sainte Anne
but wouldn't bet on it!
